Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a Jet Propulsion Engineer who will design and optimize jet propulsion systems, contributing to the development of high-performance aircraft engines.


The ideal candidate will have a technical background, experience in propulsion systems, and a passion for advancing aerospace technology.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design: Design and development of jet propulsion components and systems, ensuring compliance with performance, safety, and regulatory standards.

  • Project Involvement: Be part of propulsion-related projects from concept through testing, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and budgets.

  • Testing and Validation: Be part of test plans for propulsion systems, analyze test data, and prepare comprehensive reports to support design validation and certification efforts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including design, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of propulsion systems into aircraft platforms.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and technology advancements, contributing to the development of next-generation propulsion systems.

Qualifications and Job Information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field;

  • 7+ years of work experience in jet propulsion engineering or a related aerospace field, with a proven track record of successful projects.

  • Expertise in propulsion system design, thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and materials used in aerospace applications.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with engine testing processes.

  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques and emerging propulsion technologies.
