About the Opportunity
We are partnering with a growing global industrial manufacturer to identify a Regional Sales Manager focused on expanding business within manufacturing and machining environments across the Eastern United States.
This is a highly visible, field-based sales role focused on:
New business development
Growing existing manufacturing accounts
Supporting product trials and customer implementation
Expanding market share within industrial production environments
The ideal candidate will bring direct experience selling industrial lubricants, metalworking fluids, industrial chemicals, or related manufacturing consumable products into industrial customers.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop and execute a regional sales strategy to grow territory revenue
Identify, pursue, and close new manufacturing customer opportunities
Manage and expand existing customer relationships
Conduct plant visits, product evaluations, troubleshooting, and product trials
Recommend lubrication and metalworking fluid solutions based on customer applications
Work closely with technical and commercial teams to support implementation and customer success
Maintain pipeline activity, CRM updates, forecasting, and territory planning
Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and customer needs
Build relationships with engineering, maintenance, operations, manufacturing, and procurement teams
Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, and industry events
Qualifications and Job Information
What We’re Looking For
✅ 3–5+ years of direct sales experience in one or more of the following:
Industrial lubricants
Metalworking fluids
Industrial chemicals
MRO consumables
Manufacturing consumable products
✅ Previous experience selling into:
Manufacturing plants
CNC machining environments
Fabrication operations
Industrial production facilities
✅ Proven ability to:
Develop new business
Open doors and grow territories
Build long-term customer relationships
Manage accounts independently
✅ Strong technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing / machining processes
✅ Comfortable conducting:
Product trials
Troubleshooting discussions
Consultative technical sales conversations
✅ Willingness to travel regularly throughout assigned territory (50–70%)
