Refrigeration Technician
Our client headquartered in Newton County, GA is seeking a seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration Technician to join their team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for piping, brazing, charging, test, repairing, and troubleshooting refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in piping, brazing, charging, and be proficient in diagnosing and resolving complex refrigeration issues. Additionally, occasional on-site visits may be required to support field technicians and provide technical assistance.

Primary Responsibilities:

Perform pipe fitting, brazing, and soldering to connect refrigeration lines and components.

Charge refrigeration systems with appropriate refrigerants, ensuring accurate measurements and adherence to safety standards.

Troubleshoot and diagnose faults in refrigeration systems using specialized tools and equipment.

Repair or replace faulty components, such as compressors, valves, motors, and controls.

Occasionally perform onsite inspections to ensure proper functioning of refrigeration systems and identify potential issues before they become major problems.

Collaborate with field technicians to provide technical support and guidance, both remotely and occasionally on-site.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including service reports, equipment logs, and parts inventory.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in refrigeration systems.

Comply with safety regulations and follow proper procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, or damage to equipment.
Basic Qualifications:

Minimum High School diploma

Proven experience as a Refrigeration Technician or similar role.

Proficiency in pipe fitting, brazing, and soldering techniques.

Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles, systems, and components.

Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose complex refrigeration issues.

Experience with charging refrigeration systems and handling various types of refrigerants.
