Our client, a leading international high-technology group operating in the aviation, defense, and space markets, is seeking a skilled Senior RF Engineer for their facility in Gwinnett County, GA.

As a Senior RF Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the pre and post-sales processes for Antennas, Receivers, Best Source Selectors, and RF Transmitters. This position involves technical proposal preparation, hardware demonstration support, customer interaction, market studies, and ensuring a positive customer perception of client’s products.

Qualifications and Job Information

Essential Job Functions:

  • Prepare and check customer loaner demonstration hardware, ensuring successful integration with customer legacy system interfaces.

  • Develop proposals and provide technical support in meetings and site surveys pre and post-sales

  • Work with other engineers (HW and/or SW) to resolve issues as part of development process.

  • Qualify leads by conducting market and customer studies, understanding operational requirements.

  • Conduct in-depth technical discussions with subject matter experts to position the client for future RF requirements.

  • Provide on-site and remote troubleshooting support for systems.

  • Travel as necessary to support customer product evaluations and other pre and post sales activities.

  • Conduct bi-annual technical training for the Sales team.

Desired Qualifications, Skills, and Experiences

  • U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.

  • Electrical Engineering Degree or long-term engineering level support in the field of RF Instrumentation systems (experience can be substituted for an Engineering Degree).

  • Minimum of 10 years Testing and Instrumentation experience.

  • Extensive knowledge of: Antennas, Receivers, Best Source Selectors, and RF Transmitters.

  • Extensive Knowledge of RF and Telemetry Range instrumentation systems.

  • Working experience with various schematic entry tools and high-speed test/measurement equipment and other test systems such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, and RF signals.

  • Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.

  • Strong background in debugging and trouble shooting.

  • Using test systems to identify and resolve problems.

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with RF Signal Transmission and IRIG RF Related standards.

  • Ability to work in a self-directed environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SBS Products is a plus.

  • Understanding Procurement Evaluation process and Government contracts are a plus.
