Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a HR Business Partner who will oversee hiring and developing workforce as our client builds a new manufacturing facility. Your expertise will help foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and support workforce planning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic HR Partnership:Â Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve organizational goals.
Talent Management:Â Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored for the aerospace sector.
Employee Development:Â Design and implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career progression within the organization.
Performance Management:Â Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Employee Relations:Â Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and communication strategies.
HR Policies and Compliance:Â Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.
Data Analysis:Â Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.
Culture and Engagement:Â Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Qualifications and Job Information
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
10+ years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.
Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
Experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering, or related fields.
