Our client, a manufacturer of turbojet engines, is seeking a HR Business Partner who will oversee hiring and developing workforce as our client builds a new manufacturing facility.  Your expertise will help foster a high-performance culture, enhance employee engagement, and support workforce planning and development.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic HR Partnership: Collaborate with leadership to understand business objectives and provide strategic HR support to achieve organizational goals.

  • Talent Management: Lead talent acquisition efforts, including workforce planning, recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies tailored for the aerospace sector.

  • Employee Development: Design and implement training and development programs that enhance employee skills and support career progression within the organization.

  • Performance Management: Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

  • Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns and fostering a positive work environment through effective conflict resolution and communication strategies.

  • HR Policies and Compliance: Ensure adherence to HR policies, procedures, and employment laws, and make recommendations for improvements as needed.

  • Data Analysis: Utilize HR metrics and analytics to inform decision-making, identify trends, and measure the effectiveness of HR initiatives.

  • Culture and Engagement: Champion initiatives that promote a positive company culture and enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications and Job Information

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.

  • 10+ years of HR experience, with a focus on business partnering in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.

  • Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Proven ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong customer service orientation.

  • Proficient in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HR analytics tools is a plus.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.

  • Experience in aerospace manufacturing, engineering, or related fields.
